2. Daily Checklist

  1. Raw water pump operation checked
  2. Pressure gauges & flow meters readings normal
  3. Chlorine dosing system functioning
  4. Chemical levels in dosing tanks adequate
  5. Backwash of filters (as required) carried out
  6. Treated water quality (pH, turbidity, residual chlorine) within limits
  7. No leakage in pipelines and valves
  8. SCADA/Control panel indicators normal
  9. Sludge discharge performed (if required)

3. Weekly Checklist

  1. Inspect pumps for noise/vibration
  2. Check alignment & lubrication of pumps/motors
  3. Inspect filter media condition
  4. Calibrate flow meters and pressure gauges
  5. Clean strainers/screens in raw water line
  6. Verify chemical dosing rates


4. Monthly Checklist

  1. Check storage tanks for cleanliness
  2. Inspect electrical panels, MCCs, and control wiring
  3. Check standby pump/motor operation
  4. Inspect valves and actuators for proper operation
  5. Verify alarm and interlock functionality
  6. Inspect air blowers (if used in aeration/clarifiers)

5. Quarterly / Half-Yearly Checklist

  1. Clean and inspect filter media or membranes
  2. Overhaul dosing pumps (diaphragms, seals, calibration)
  3. Inspect sludge handling system
  4. Conduct full water analysis (pH, TDS, hardness, turbidity, chlorine, etc.)
  5. Check earthing system and safety devices
  6. Test generators/UPS backup

6. Yearly Checklist 

  1. HiPot test of critical feeder cables (as per OEM)
  2. Complete overhauling of MCCBs/ACBs/VCBs
  3. Protective relay calibration & settings review
  4. Transformer maintenance (oil test, DGA, BDV, etc. if present)
  5. Motor IR & winding resistance test
  6. Verify SCADA/automation controls with backup testing


7. Safety Checklist

  1. Danger boards/signage on all electrical panels
  2. Fire extinguishers available near panels
  3. Operators using proper PPE (arc flash suits, gloves, shoes, helmets)
  4. LOTO (Lock-Out/Tag-Out) applied before maintenance
  5. No water leakage near electrical panels
  6. First-aid kit available at site
